Curriculum

 24 credits are required for graduation. Credit must be earned in  the following curriculum areas in order to fulfill school district  requirements.

Communication Skills: 4

Math: 3
Science: 3
Practical Arts: 1
Fine Arts: 1
Physical Education: 1.5

Grading
Webster Groves High School has a Weighted Grade  Policy. Courses designated as weighted courses will use  the following scale:

A=4.5

A-=4.5
B+=3.875
B=3.375
B-=3.375
C+=2.75
C=2.25

C-=2.25
D+=1.5
D=1.0
D-=1.0
F=0.0

In non-weighted courses, this 4.0 scale is used:

A+=4.0
A=4.0
A-=4.0
B+=3.5
B=3.0
B-=3.0
C+=2.5
C=2.0

C-=2.0
D+=1.5
D=1.0
D-=1.0
F=0.0

Note: Honors grades could be an option in certain non-weighted courses. Students must be approved for this rigorous challenge and grades will be awarded based upon stringent guidelines outlined by faculty members. Appropriate department chair approval is also required. H=4.5.
