Substance Abuse

Treatment Options

Preferred Family Healthcare provides adolescent substance abuse treatment and education. PFH’s services are free to children and youth ages 19 and under who are St. Louis County residents.  If you would like to pursue this option, please contact Anne Gibbs and she will contact our liaison with PFH, who will set up an appointment with you and your child.  That person will sign paperwork with you and find out some background information and then meet with your child to do an assessment and make a recommendation from there.  The two most common treatment options are prevention treatment at school (called Team of Concern), approximately 1-2 hours per week, and outpatient treatment for 6-9 hours per week. Their South County location near Lindbergh and 270 is the closest to the Webster Groves area for outpatient treatment.  It is located at 10024 Office Center Ave, Suite 100, St. Louis, MO 63128.  There are also offices in St. Louis City, North County, and West County.
